KDPL provides structural consultancy involving analysis, design and detailing of various structures; peer reviews and proof checking of structural designs prepared by other consultants; investigation of special problems such as causes of distress in structures and their remedial solutions; and preparation of shop drawings for steel structures and detailed RCC drawings. Dr. Kelkar holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Stanford University, California, USA, and was a Postdoctoral Research Associate of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences at NASA's Ames Research Center. He served as Assistant Professor at IIT Mumbai (1967–1970) and as a Visiting Professor at Stanford University during summer quarters from 1982 to 1992. He has authored numerous technical papers in Indian and international journals and is co-author of the textbook "Fundamentals of the Analysis and Design of Shell Structures" published by Prentice-Hall, USA. He received the "Gaurav Award" (2006) for Outstanding Contribution to Civil Engineering Consultancy and the ICI "Lifetime Achievement Award" (2007) for Outstanding Contribution to Concrete Technology.
Mrs. Manjrekar holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University. With over 27 years of experience, she specialises in structural planning and design of high-rise residential and commercial buildings in India and abroad. Her responsibilities include overall supervision of design and drafting work, and coordination with clients, architects, and other consultants.
Mr. Bhangle holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University and has over 26 years of experience in the design of multistoreyed buildings and industrial structures across India and the Gulf countries. He supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen, handles computer-based structural analysis, meets with clients and architects, and conducts periodic site supervision visits.
